NOTE: The number of players includes the goalie.
2. Build Out Line
♦ All attacking team members must retreat behind the build out line:
i. When the goalie has the ball in his/her hands
ii. On Goal Kicks
♦ No drop kicks or punts – penalty is Indirect Free Kick
♦ Attacking team may not cross the build out line until the ball is in play
♦ In Play – When the ball is released from the goalie’s hands, or on a goal kick, when the ball is kicked and moves
♦ No offside unless closer to goal than build out line
3. Fall Rec. Rules
♦ No Intentional Headers– Indirect free kick from the spot of the foul for violations, unless either team commits the foul in the penalty area, then the indirect is taken from the top edge of the penalty area.
♦ No Direct Free Kicks in 3v3, 4v4 games
♦ No Penalty Kicks in 3v3, 4v4 games – Kicks for fouls in the Penalty Area are moved to the top line of the Penalty Area closest to where the foul occurred
♦ No Offside in 3v3 4v4 games – However, do not allow players to be coached to be offside
          ♦Modified Offsides 6v6
                     a. Offsides from restriction line called on attacking team to opponents goal
          ♦ Offside is enforced in all 7v7, 9v9, 11v11

♦ Slide tackling is allowed in games except 3v3, 4v4 games; however, it may not be done from behind and may not make contact with the player

4. Special 4 v 4 Rules
♦ No slide tackles
♦ No Offside
♦ No Direct Free Kicks or Penalty Kicks – for fouls inside the Restriction Line, the kick should be taken from the Restriction Line closest to where the foul occurred
♦ Opposing Team must be behind the Restriction Line on goal kicks until the ball crosses the Restriction Line. The Restriction Line will be clearly marked across the width of the field approximately 10 yards from the goal line.

♦ Offsides from restriction line called on attacking team to opponents goal

♦ Goal Kicks taken from goal box
♦ Corner kicks taken from the corner even though no arc
5. Restriction Line v Build Out Line
Restriction Line 4v4
a. Ball can be played by opposing team ONLY after it CROSSES the Restriction Line
b. Restart for foul inside the Restriction Line is an Indirect Kick from the Restriction closest to where the foul occurred
Build Out Line 7v7
a. Ball can be played by opposing team after it is put in play (It does NOT need to cross the Build Out Line
b. Restart for fouls inside the Build Out Line is a kick taken from the spot of the foul; except as described below
c. In 7v7 games, for foul inside the penalty area the restart is a Direct Kick from the top line of the penalty area closest to where the foul occurred.
